We are looking for an Automation Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have trade certificate in electronics, mechanical or automation and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

As an Automation Systems Technician, you will be responsible for participating in fabrication and testing of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment, assembling and testing mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment, and conducting function testing and fault-finding of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment.

You will work closely with the Engineering departments during planning, preparation, execution and close out of projects and travel on operations when required.

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in fabrication and testing of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment
  2. Assemble and test mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment
  3. Conduct function testing and fault-finding of mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment
  4. Prepare mechanical/hydraulic/electrical equipment to be sent onsite based on project specifications
  5. Maintain and preserve rental/service equipment and other equipment for storage
  6. Participate actively in quality improvement and quality assurance
  7. When required, assist the Engineering departments during planning, preparation, execution and close out of projects
  8. High focus on housekeeping
  9. Travel on operations when required
