Mainframe System Administrator Job Description

This job involves solving complex problems, managing systems data, and ensuring security compliance for major clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe system administration, particularly in zOS systems.

About the Role
  • Solve complex problems across platforms and services.
  • Manage systems data and deliver daily solutions.

The candidate should have experience with zOS system administration, including system installation and maintenance, and familiarity with zOS ISHELL/OpenMVS. Understanding of Mainframe z/OS system operations and experience with Mainframe product installation are also required.

Familiarity with common zOS system tools such as TSO, ISPF, SDSF is a plus. The candidate should also have experience with vulnerability management and be proficient in English.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with GDPS systems.
  • Vulnerability management expertise.
Eligibility and Location

This position is open to candidates who are citizens of an EU country or hold a valid work permit for Norway. The location is Oslo, Norway.
