About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrotest Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a Hydrotest Engineer, you will be responsible for defining testing scope, preparing test isometrics, and working orders based on test activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define Testing Scope: Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the quality and safety of hydrotest equipment.
  2. Prepare Test Isometrics: Create detailed isometric drawings to visualize the testing process and identify potential issues.
  3. Work Orders: Develop and manage work orders to ensure timely and efficient completion of testing activities.
  4. Design Checks: Conduct thorough design checks to identify errors in preceding deliveries, procedures, and schedules.
  5. Quality and Punctuality: Ensure the quality and punctuality of own deliveries according to project plans and procedures.
  6. Testing Scope Breakdown: Break down the testing scope into manageable tests considering fabrication methods, commissioning boundaries, and P&IDs.
  7. Systems and Procedures: Establish and follow up on systems, procedures, and routines for testing; report status regularly.
  8. Scope of Work: Provide input on the Scope of Work (SOW) for subcontracting.
  9. Product Quality: Focus on product quality and gather lessons learned from previous projects to implement improvements.
  10. Continual Improvement: Contribute to the continual improvement of procedures, routines, and overall work within the testing group.
Requirements
  1. Technical Qualifications: Technical college or engineer with 3 years' experience in hydro testing of pipework.
  2. Language Skills: Proficient in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.
  3. IT Skills: Strong IT skills, active and solution-oriented approach.
  4. Knowledge and Skills: Solid knowledge in hydro testing of pipework, proficient in MIPS and 3D tools such as AutoCAD, E3D, PDMS, Navis, and the MS Office package.
