Process Engineer Specialist

As a key member of our team at TN Norway, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

You will work closely with the discipline lead and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Please note that the ideal candidate should be residing in Norway currently and have at least one year's experience working on Norwegian projects.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years' total experience as a Process Engineer
  • Experience working for EPCI companies on Equinor/AkerBP projects is highly preferred

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop process designs and simulations using industry-standard software tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS). Create PFDs and P&IDs to support project development.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure process designs are integrated into overall project plans. Assist in the development of project schedules and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects. Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all process designs comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and design software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD).
