Job Description:

The role of Cost Controller at TN Norway involves establishing budgets, updating cost estimates, and maintaining cost reporting systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, cost control, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting: Prepare and revise the Master and Current Control Estimate (MCE/CCE) and Project Control Basis.
  • Cost Control: Timely delivery of reporting, alignment between cost and change control database, and building excellent working relationships within the team.
  • Reporting: Prepare input to License Budgets & Project Approval for Expenditures (AFE's), track expenditure against License budgets and AFEs, and ensure change control processes are followed.

Requirements:

  • A degree level qualification related to Project Management, Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Economics or Business Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost engineering and/or cost control as part of relevant larger development projects or decommissioning projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft365 working tools, including advanced use of Excel.
  • Experience of project management tools is beneficial.
