Cyber Risk Management Professional

We are seeking a Cyber Risk Management Professional to join our team in Stavanger, Oslo, or Bergen.

This role will be part of the Cyber Defense Center, responsible for detecting and responding to cyber threats to on-prem systems, cloud, and IACS.

The successful candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for cyber incident response across Equinor, with a strong focus on analysis, mitigation, and prevention.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess cyber security risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and assessing cyber security risks to Equinor's operations.
  • Developing and implementing risk management strategies and playbooks.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address cyber security risks.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and technologies, and providing recommendations for improving our risk management capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related fields, with relevant working experience a plus.
  • Experience working within a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess cyber security risks.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Threat Intelligence and emergency response is an advantage.
