Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Professional to lead the development and implementation of our quality framework. This is a key role within our operations team, responsible for establishing robust processes, procedures, and standards across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on execution, particularly suited to a dynamic, high-growth environment. The Senior Quality Professional will oversee quality throughout the supply chain, internal assembly function, and outsourced European production facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, author, implement and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, for example ISO 9001 and applicable defence standards (e.g., AQAP, AS9100, or equivalent).
  • Establish and monitor quality assurance metrics, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Lead supplier quality assurance activities, including audits, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure quality control within the assembly and production environments, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and R&D to embed quality into every phase of the product lifecycle.
  • Support certification processes and compliance with applicable standards (e.g. ISO).
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for quality matters with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a QA or Quality Management role, preferably within a manufacturing, technology, or sectors such as industrial electronics, energy, defence, aerospace and or med tech / pharma.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or scale quality systems in a growing organisation.
  • Strong understanding of quality tools, methodologies, and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with supplier management and manufacturing oversight.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
  • Eligibility for security clearance required to work with defence-related technologies.
