Chief of Defence Staff Representative

Spektrum supports NATO and international clients in delivering high-level defence training events. We are seeking a Senior Military Advisor to provide subject matter expertise in defence matters and represent the affected nation's military position policy.

The role involves providing expert advice and guidance on operational and strategic use of military assets, as well as coordinating military operational matters within the EXCON team. The successful candidate will have 3 years' experience at senior staff level in a strategic or operational national, international or NATO headquarters.

Key responsibilities include developing a basic Concept of Operations for the use of the AN's military assets in the conflict, assisting training audiences with initial planning stages, and generating exercise material to provide a challenging problem set.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers at the governance level in a National or Multinational environment, and have attained the rank of OF-6 during their military career. A University/Bachelor's Degree or Staff College qualification is also essential.

This opportunity is based in Stavanger, Norway, with remote work possible on an ad-hoc basis. Travel costs to participate in the activity will be covered by Spektrum.
