Client-side Project Manager – Norway – Construction/Data Centres – up to £100,000 salary + Bonuses

Project Manager required to join a rapidly growing team on a large scale construction project. You will play a key role in leading the delivery of a high value Hyperscale Data centre construction project in Norway

You can either be full time in Norway or on a 11/3 Rotation.

Flights and accommodation are provided as well as a hire car. In addition, you will be provided a £50 per day living allowance.

Pre-construction
• Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget
• Supporting Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations
• Supporting contract negotiations
• Assisting the client and the Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of all Owner-direct vendors and consultants

Construction
• Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground
• Coordinating Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase
• Working with the Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking
• Liaising with the Client’s schedule management team to provide Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis

Close out/Fit up
• Initiating close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance
• Establishing close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller. Collect and track receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.
• Assisting with City and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process.
• Assisting the Client in scheduling, coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors, consultants.

Candidate
Construction Project Manager experience
Degree or qualification in a relevant subject area
Ability to coordinate the work of other discipline specific OR’s to achieve the objectives set by the client
In-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
Ability to manage technical disciplines.
Data Centre, New Build and refurbishment experience, preferably on hyperscale builds
