We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full-time Orthoptist to join a busy and collaborative ophthalmology team in Auckland. This role can be offered as a 1-year fixed term or permanent position, depending on your preference. 

About the Role:

• Delivering high-quality orthoptic assessments and management for both adult and paediatric patients.
• You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and lead orthoptist-led clinics independently.
• The role also includes contributing to regional service delivery and supporting clinical education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert orthoptic assessments and tailored care
• Collaborate with Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Nurses, and Technicians
• Support clinical education and service improvement

About You:

• Recognised Orthoptics qualification (IOA or associate member country)
• Registration with NZ Orthoptic Society (NZOSI) required upon commencement
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
