EHS Manager - Norway, Skien Month Contract
Our client is a well-known brand operating in 65+ countries and has worked on some of world's largest mission critical and infrastructure projects. This client has aggressive growth plans and are one of the top 5 largest design and consulting firms in the world.

The data centre arm of their portfolio is a vital and growing area of the business; therefore, our client is always looking for the best talent in the market – and they are looking for a EHS Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support for implementation of the EHS & Security Plan
• Verify that the project/site-specific EHS procedures protect personnel and the general public.
• Hold line management accountable for EHS Management System implementation and performance.
• Oversee EHS performance on the project/site.
• Review incident records and verify that all follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure incidents where personal injuries occur are thoroughly and appropriately investigated and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
• Participate in audits and weekly planned inspections of the site and ensure closure of subsequent action items.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong EHS leadership on major construction projects
• DC or mission-critical experience preferred (not essential)
• Client-side or consultancy background a plus
• Experience working across EU jurisdictions
• Proven ability to lead in multi-disciplinary environments
