Join the international service team at Lillehammer Fjellstue

Season: December 20, March 31, 2026

We are now looking for two new colleagues to join our international service team for the upcoming winter season. Ideally, you know each other well and may have worked together before. We offer free accommodation in a double room in our on-site staff house (fully equipped, shared facilities, good WiFi)

Your main responsibilities

Cleaning and preparing hotel rooms and common areas

Cleaning and preparing rental cabins and apartments

Serving the breakfast buffet in the restaurant, followed by cleaning

Serving the evening buffet in the restaurant, followed by cleaning

A typical workday

Morning to midday: housekeeping or breakfast service

Afternoon to evening: dinner service and cleaning

Some days are shorter, others longer - but a full-time position is guaranteed.

Who we are looking for

You have solid experience in the hospitality industry, especially in housekeeping and food service

You are friendly, positive, and able to work independently

You enjoy making guests feel welcome and appreciated

You are professional and personal in your interactions with guests and colleagues

You are flexible, adaptable, and ready for busy days in the mountains

You enjoy nature and preferably cross-country skiing, as Lillehammer Fjellstue is located in a ski area

You speak English (our working language), and other language skills are a plus

The lodge has been run by the same family for more than 30 years, and many of our guests return year after year. We are highly rated for cleanliness, excellent service, and quality food - values we take great pride in. Guests at our lodge appreciate peace, quiet, good ski conditions, and personal service.

Welcome to the fjellstue-family

Lillehammer Fjellstue is a family-run business located in the mountains at Nordseter, about 15 minutes from Lillehammer. It is a quiet cross-country skiing destination with many rental cabins in the area. In addition to the Fjellstue, there is a service center with a café. Several buses run to Lillehammer during the day.

During the winter, our guests are looking for good skiing, good food, and personal service. They usually get up early and go to bed early - this is not a party destination.

We serve breakfast in the morning and an evening buffet in the evening. Lunch is not served. Rooms, cabins, and apartments are cleaned between each guest stay. Some guests stay longer, while others stay for shorter periods. Most of our winter guests come from different countries across Europe.
