Position overview:
As Funding Coordinator / Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and developing funding opportunities that support The Oslo Center's global work. The role involves close collaboration with the CEO and Chair of the Board, and requires strategic insight, operational execution, and strong relationship-building skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze new global funding opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential donors.
- Lead and coordinate application processes in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Support the CEO and Chair in strategic donor engagement.
- Follow up with existing donors and build long-term relationships.
- Develop and implement donor stewardship strategies.
- Contribute to the development of the Oslo Center's funding strategy.
- Represent the Oslo Center in relevant forums and networks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in relevant fields (e.g. political science, economics, international relations).
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or sales – preferably from NGOs, development, or related sectors.
- Experience with international donors and reporting requirements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
