FINANCE MANAGER, SUPPLY CHAIN
Based out of Oslo, Norway the Supply Chain Finance Manager will support financial planning, analysis, and performance management for Helly Hansen's global supply chain operations. In alignment with Kontoor's corporate standards, this role is instrumental in improving visibility into supply chain costs and performance metrics, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency and drive profitability. The position reports directly to the Finance Director for Global Supply Chain, based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead monthly forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes for Helly Hansen's supply chain activities.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on key cost drivers and operational trends.
- Support the development of the annual operating plan and long-range strategic plans for supply chain finance.
- Cost Visibility & Optimization
- Improve transparency and visibility into supply chain costs by developing and maintaining detailed cost tracking tools and dashboards.
- Maintain and update standard costs for materials, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies across sourcing, logistics, and procurement.
- Help improve business profitability by analyzing cost structures and recommending margin-enhancing initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring & Metrics
- Develop and enhance reporting on key supply chain financial metrics and KPIs.
- Monitor trends and performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to supply chain and finance leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, sourcing, and logistics teams to align financial goals with business strategies.
- Support supply chain leadership with accurate and timely financial analysis.
- Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting and planning.
- Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements. Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting systems and processes.
LEADERSHIP IMPERATIVES
- Support Strategic Direction: Execute financial strategies aligned with global growth objectives, including supply chain optimization and brand development
- Drive Initiatives: Drive high-impact projects, partnering with business leaders to improve financial performance and deliver business results
- Ensure Accountability: Monitor financial performance metrics, conduct regular variance analysis and providing actionable insights
- Influence Leadership: Provide financial guidance to management teams, provide analyses supporting recommendations for key decisions on investments and initiatives
- Drive Innovation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities and support initiatives to automate and streamline financial reporting processes, improving data delivery and decision-making speed
- Foster Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams across regions to align financial strategies and ensure cohesive execution of initiatives
- Exhibit Ownership: Take ownership of financial outcomes, drive continuous improvement and adapt to changing business needs
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of finance experience, with proven experience in supply chain or manufacturing finance, strategic financial planning, and FP&A
- Proven success in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and long-term strategic planning
- Experience developing dashboards and performance reports to monitor and drive business performance
- Ability to automate and streamline financial reporting processes, ensuring the efficient flow of information across the business
- Proficiency in business case development and ROI evaluation, ensuring alignment with financial goals and business objectives
- Trusted, strategic, and cross-functional collaborative skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
