Job Description

  • This position is part of the Operations, Logistics & Subsea department in supply chain. We are responsible for all the contracts that ar e utilized in our offshore operations. We are now looking for a Sr. Contract & Category Specialist.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Lead supplier communication and negotiations to secure optimal agreements with suppliers.
  • Keep contract records and all related documents tidy and in order.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier landscape to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with internal procedures business management system and external regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, logistics or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience.
  • Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with a focus on achieving results.
