Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Promon Full time 60,000 - 120,000 per year

At Promon, we protect the apps people rely on every day. Our award-winning application shielding solutions are trusted globally across finance, telecom, healthcare, and beyond. Behind the scenes, our IT team plays a vital role in ensuring that the tools, systems, and infrastructure that power Promon are reliable, efficient, and secure.

We're now looking for an IT Operations Engineer to strengthen our IT team and ensure our systems, applications, and integrations are running seamlessly—supporting both our people and our products.

The Role:

As our IT Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and managing Promon's IT infrastructure. From backend systems and integrations to identity platforms and device management, you'll ensure that our operations are secure, reliable, and future-ready.

You'll manage the configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle of domains, IDPs, MDM and RMM systems, servers, and networking. You'll also be responsible for keeping our published data and information systems up to date. Acting as second- and third-line support for backend applications and services, you'll solve complex technical challenges that frontline support can't handle. This role is highly collaborative. You'll work closely with suppliers and vendors to plan updates and upgrades, and you'll coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication, planning, and delivery across IT operations.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for someone who combines hands-on technical expertise with a structured, service-oriented mindset. You're the type of person who thrives on making complex systems run smoothly and securely.

Must-haves:

  • Expertise in administration of IDPs and active domains (both cloud and on-premise).
  • Expertise in MDM and RMM systems.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Experience maintaining, configuring, updating, and operating servers and networking systems.
  • Ability to act as second/third-line support for backend applications and services.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Scrum and ITIL frameworks.
  • Project management skills and experience working within project frameworks.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain, configure, update, upgrade, and operate Promon's active domains and IDPs (cloud and on-premise).
  • Manage and optimize MDM and RMM systems.
  • Operate and maintain servers and networking systems.
  • Ensure published data and information systems are reliable and secure.
  • Provide second/third-line support for backend applications and services.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on updates, lifecycles, and upgrades.
  • Communicate and plan internally on updates, lifecycles, and upgrades to keep stakeholders aligned.

Why You'll Thrive As A Promoneer:

At Promon you'll be at the forefront of game-changing technology, contributing to world-leading, future-focused innovations. Your contributions will help shape the future as we relentlessly pursue groundbreaking solutions that redefine industry standards.

Promon is planning on significant growth in the coming years. While we are growing, so will you as we encourage and support your passion, curiosity, and goals

You will work with some of the world's best app security experts and mobile security thought leaders.
