IT Solutions Architect – AVEVA / Hexagon System Administrator
Location Fornebu, Oslo or remote
Start Urgent
Contract 6 or 12 months

A Norwegian EPC and engineering equipment supplier is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect with strong AVEVA and Hexagon administration capabilities. The role supports ongoing project execution and internal system optimisation across engineering, document management, and data-centric workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure and maintain AVEVA and Hexagon applications used across engineering teams
  • Support system architecture, integrations and data flows between design, asset information and project execution tools
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, user access problems, configuration faults and interface errors
  • Lead upgrades, environment setup, patching and system reliability improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT and project delivery teams to ensure systems meet operational requirements
  • Develop technical documentation, configuration guidelines and best practices
    Support onboarding of new users and coordinate with vendors on technical issues

Requirements

  • Proven experience administering AVEVA and/or Hexagon platforms in an EPC or engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of data models, engineering workflows and digital project execution systems
  • Background in system architecture, integrations and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience managing multi-user environments, security settings and configuration control
  • Ability to work independently and support remote teams
  • Available to start at short notice
