About the Role:
In this role you will act as a senior software developer and become a member of the technology department. You will become responsible for designing, programming, building, deploying and maintaining Signicat's systems, and understanding the value delivered to customers. You will work in a small team that has a significant impact on the business' day to day operations. We are a critical team to the business that handle millions of authorizations and requests each day. We have a broad variety of different services that we maintain and develop.

What you will do:
- Implement maintainable, resource-efficient and secure services.
- Follow the company guidelines, ISMS (Information Security Management System) and external regulations.
- Act as a role model for the team's standards.
- Recognize and addresses areas of improvement within codebases, tooling and working processes.
- Execute complex or ambiguous assignments both independently and in cooperation with colleagues.
- Identify and communicates trade-offs of decisions made.
- Has the ability to lead specific projects, initiatives or collaborations with other teams.
- Does proactive knowledge sharing within team and tribe.
- Follows a way of work that supports high quality, autonomy, scalability, and agility.
What we expect:
- Demonstrates a clear arc of progression.
- Has a breadth of experience across a range of different products and technologies.
- Has demonstrated valuable contributions on projects of differing maturity-levels or scales.
- A good understanding of developing and maintaining REST APIs using best practices.
- Has outstanding understanding of agile software development principles and lifecycle.
- Leads on technically challenging end-to-end features according to organisation's standards.
Experience we consider as a plus:
- Kubernetes and containerization
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code

- Speaking Norwegian is a plus, though not required.
