About the Role

This position is part of the Metering and Hydrocarbon Management team, which is responsible for fiscal metering, allocation, and reporting across all customers operated-fields

The role reports to the Operations Manager – Metering & Hydrocarbon Management and works closely with the Lead Hydrocarbon Management Engineer and the Metering Engineers within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Allocate oil and gas production between fields producing to the same installation, in accordance with commercial agreements (Allocation).

Ensure allocation and reporting are completed on time and with high quality

Validate and correct data, and retrieve missing data as needed—often in collaboration with Metering Engineers.

Re-run allocations and issue updated reports for historical corrections.

Drive continuous improvement of systems and routines related to allocation.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders on production reporting and allocation.

Qualifications and Competence

Higher education within IT, process, finance, or engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Minimum 3 years of experience within Metering and/or Allocation preferred.

Experience with Energy Components (production reporting tool) is an advantage.

Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
