The Casino Supervisor oversees daily operations of casino gaming tables including Blackjack, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Dice, and other related services ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, compliance, and operational excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All duties must be performed in accordance with Royal Caribbean International's The Royal Way, SQM standards, USPH guidelines, environmental policies, and safety regulations.
  • Shipboard employees may be required to work across various venues throughout the ship.
  • Guest Service & Conduct
  • Maintain professional, courteous conduct at all times in alignment with Celebrity Cruises' Pillars of Safety, Service, and Style, and the Celebrity Connections philosophy.
  • Ensure all interactions—verbal or physical—with guests and crew reflect company standards, especially in guest-facing or crew areas.
  • Casino Floor Operations
  • Monitor and oversee gaming floor activities, circulating among tables to observe game operations, guest behavior, and security.
  • Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous service and that staff consistently follow proper dealing procedures.
  • Identify and address rule violations, security concerns, or disruptive behavior, reporting issues to Casino Management as needed.
  • Maintain smooth game flow by monitoring accuracy, pace, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Provide proactive problem prevention and resolution.

Guest Engagement

  • Host and greet guests on the casino floor, offering helpful information and courteous assistance.
  • Explain and clarify house rules for guests when requested .

Operational Control:

  • Open and close gaming tables based on business needs.
  • Set table limits in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Distribute required gaming equipment at the start of each shift and verify drop boxes are secured to tables.

Staff Supervision & Training:

  • Train, coach, and monitor casino staff to ensure consistent delivery of Celebrity service standards.
  • Provide on-the-job training to support performance improvement and career development.
  • Assist crew members with table preparation when staffing is limited or during busy periods.
  • Notify the Casino Manager of employee schedules, attendance, and time records.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare accurate operational reports in a timely manner as required by Casino Operations policies.
  • Participate in table counts, documentation, and other scheduled reporting duties.
  • Attend required meetings, training sessions, and job-related activities.
