Help safeguard connectivity for businesses across the Nordics
At GlobalConnect, we operate the digital backbone of society. Our Nordic Incident Management team is responsible for coordinating customer-critical incidents across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Germany. We ensure reliable service for our B2B customers through managing cases in a quick, concise, and quality focused way — securing trust with our customers and partners.
We are now looking for a Nordic Incident Manager to join the team in Oslo. In this role, you will lead coordination of incidents across countries, act as an escalation point, and ensure that customer communication is clear, timely, and professional.
As Nordic Incident Manager, You Will
- Head up coordination of the Nordic incident team, facilitating weekly status meetings and ensuring alignment across countries.
- Be an escalation point for local incident managers and work closely with them on complex cases.
- Take the operational lead during incidents — monitor progress, secure handovers, and drive cases to resolution.
- Own communication with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring updates are accurate, timely, and trustworthy.
- Participate in customer meetings, incident reviews, and RCA presentations.
- Contribute to improving incident management processes, tools, and collaboration across the Nordics.
What You Need To Succeed
- Experience handling incidents and escalations, with the ability to assess urgency and prioritize effectively — whether gained in telecom, IT, or another industry.
- Ability to manage dialogue across departments and convey technical information in a clear and customer-friendly way.
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills, remaining calm and solution-oriented even when issues are escalated.
- Structured way of working, coordinating across teams and functions.
- Technical understanding of telecom/data solutions, or strong willingness to build this knowledge.
Good to have
- Background from customer service environments.
- ITIL knowledge or certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar systems.
- Experience working across Nordic or international teams.
We believe you will thrive in this role if you are:
- Solution-oriented and pragmatic.
- Able to build trust quickly with colleagues and customers.
- Innovative, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
- Resilient and comfortable working under pressure.
Why GlobalConnect
At GlobalConnect, you will be part of a company that builds, owns, and operates fiber networks and data centers across the Nordics and northern Germany. We safeguard connectivity for hospitals, municipalities, companies, and government services — and we need people like you to help us deliver on that mission.
The role is based in Oslo (Fornebu) and includes participation in a duty rotation to support customers outside normal hours. Some travel will be necessary to ensure alignment across countries.
The process
We review applications continuously, so submit your CV or LinkedIn at your earliest convenience. We don't need a personal letter unless there's something important you'd like to explain that's not in your CV or LinkedIn.
