AutoStore is offering a Mechanics Engineering Summer Internship at our headquarters in Nedre Vats for the summer of 2026. Join our fast-growing, world-leading company in robotic warehousing and gain hands-on experience contributing to real engineering projects alongside our Mechanics, Electronics, and Firmware teams.

You'll get the chance to work in our advanced system facilities, a true playground for engineers, where you can see our technology in action and learn from real-world systems.

The internship will last approximately 6 weeks, from mid-June to late July 2026.

What you'll do:
As a Mechanics Engineering Intern, you'll assist our engineering teams with ongoing projects, gaining practical experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and testing. You'll have the opportunity to work on specific tasks, contribute to hands-on lab and workshop work, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on short-term projects.

Some of the tasks you can expect to work on are:

  • Assist with mechanical design, testing, and validation of components and assemblies

  • Support prototyping and basic workshop activities, including material testing and troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with Mechanics, Electronics, and Firmware teams on small, defined projects

  • Support preparation and maintenance of engineering documentation

  • Contribute to improvements of engineering workflows and processes

Who you are:

  • A student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

  • You enjoy hands-on work and are comfortable in a workshop or lab environment

  • You are curious, proactive, and motivated to learn from experienced engineers

  • You communicate clearly and work well in a team environment

  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions while contributing ideas
