Group IT/ IT Application Services

The Solution Specialist (CMS) plays a central role in enabling, governing, and continuously improving TOMRA's web platforms. Acting as a bridge between Group IT, Brand Marketing & Communications, divisional stakeholders, and external partners, this role ensures scalable, secure, and compliant digital solutions. The position supports both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational excellence across the global web ecosystem.

The role is based at the global HQ in Asker and reports to VP, Head of IT Application Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Web Platform Governance – Govern CMS platforms, analytics, and integrations, ensuring compliance with branding, security and enterprise standards.
  • Solution Delivery & Support – Translate business needs into technical requirements, coordinate delivery with internal teams and vendors, and provide L2/L3 support to maintain high availability and service levels.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management – Act as the interface between IT, BMC, divisional stakeholders, and external partners to drive effective collaboration and consistent outcomes.
  • Project Execution – Lead technical delivery for website redesigns, feature rollouts, and integrations, ensuring alignment with agile planning and release schedules.
  • Training, Documentation & Financial Oversight – Develop training materials, maintain usage guidelines, and track vendor hours and budgets to support sustainable operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT or web services
  • Previous hands-on experience with CMS (Optimizely is a plus)
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical execution
  • Skilled in project delivery, release management, and hybrid IT delivery models
  • Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written
