Global Head of Talent Aquisition

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Global Head of Talent Acquisition to lead our global talent acquisition strategy and execution. The Global Head of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that attract top talent, improve the candidate experience, and ensure a strong employer brand. This role is a pivotal part of our People & Culture strategic plan, directly contributing to streamlining recruitment processes and ensuring talent profiles are aligned with strategic needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent acquisition strategy:
- Develop and implement a global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Appear's growth ambitions, business goals and culture.
- Identify key talent pools and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Manage the talent acquisition budget and ensure cost-effective recruitment practices.
- Recruitment process management:
- Streamline and optimize the recruitment process to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Implement standardized recruitment processes and procedures across all regions.
- Utilization of best of breed technology to ensure automation and efficiency for candidates, recruitment staff, and hiring managers.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Employer branding:
- Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Manage Appear's online presence on career websites and social media platforms.
- Partner with marketing to create compelling content that showcases Appear's culture and values.
- Growth and expansion:
- Contribute to setting up a professional and attractive candidate offering in new locations Appear expands into
- Establish templates, such as contracts and offer letters, for new markets
- Contribute to setting up benefits, such as insurance, in new countires
- Manage relationship and the operational execution with EOR in cases of no legal entity present
- Team leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
- Set team goals and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Stakeholder management:
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders across all departments and regions.
- Understand their talent needs and develop customized recruitment strategies.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market trends.
- Data analytics and reporting:
- Track and analyse key recruitment metrics (e.g., time to fill, conversion rate, cost per hire, candidate satisfaction, etc.).
- Identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to HR leadership and business stakeholders.
- Contribution to People & Culture transformation:
- Actively participate in the People & Culture ambitions and transformation plan, contributing to process optimization and regional integration.
- Ensure the recruitment processes align with the goals of building a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience developing and implementing global talent acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
