Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Connected Services & Solutions Specialist is responsible for driving adoption, sales execution, and customer success of newly launched connected products and digital service offerings within the assigned region. This role focuses on expanding market penetration, managing key accounts and channel partners, and supporting strategic growth initiatives for connected gas detection and safety solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience working with connected safety ecosystems and understands industrial safety requirements, specifically gas detection or related safety products.

This is a remote position that could be based in Norway, Sweden or Finland.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth

Drive regional sales performance and achieve quarterly/annual revenue targets for connected products and services.

  • Lead the introduction and commercialization of new connected offerings and digital services to customers and partners.
  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline using CRM systems; accurately forecast sales results.

Customer & Account Management

  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with end users, channel distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct on-site or virtual solution demos, proof-of-concept trials, and product training.
  • Support the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing, including after-sales follow-up to ensure customer success and retention.

Channel Partner Management

  • Develop and mentor channel partners to improve product knowledge, sales performance, and service capability.
  • Execute regional channel programs, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor channel performance and recommend corrective actions where needed.

Connected Solutions Enablement

  • Act as a subject matter expert for connected gas detection or safety solutions in the field (hardware, software platforms, analytics, and services).
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to deliver customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
  • Provide insight on competitive offerings and assist in positioning company products effectively.
Success Indicators
  • Accelerated adoption of connected products within the region.
  • Growth of recurring revenue from digital services.
  • Increased channel engagement and performance.
  • High customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • (Nice to have) Bachelor's degree in Business, Safety Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical sales, connected/IoT product sales, or service solution selling.
  • Experience in gas detection, industrial safety equipment, or PPE markets strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in account management, channel development, and complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
