We are looking for a skilled Heat trace engineer to work in a large EPC project.

The right candidate will join a major green field field project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills with respect to electrical heat trace design.

Calculate, select, and oversee heat trace cable design

Design and follow up on heat trace requirements per P&IDs and project solutions

Input, update and maintain heat trace engineering register

Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings and coordinate between fabrication and engineering teams

Interface with other disciplines to ensure compliant, reliable heat tracing solutions

Required Education:

Bachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 12 years' relevant experience with onshore and offshore facilities

Ex course (to be renewed every 5 years) If candidate has no EX-certificate, then the course must be taken as soon as possible after starting work.

Required Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience in the design and calculations of electrical heat-trace systems for offshore projects.

Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC

Familiar with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks

Required Qualifications:

Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing

Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment

A natural team player, but possess the ability to work independently

Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements

Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Required Certificates:

EX - Grunnleggende EX kurs. 6-8 timer online, eller 22,5 i klasserom

FSE - med førstehjelp
