RETENTION MANAGER
As the
Retention Manager
for Europe, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty across various European markets and channels, including email and SMS. Using CRM techniques, the role will work to increase customer Lifetime Value in European markets through increasing shopper frequency and life time value, building affinity with the Helly Hansen brand. The role will also help grow our 1st party database to support future acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement retention strategies that drive increased European customer loyalty
- Develop and execute CRM campaigns covering channels including email and SMS to increase customer conversion, retention and engagement
- Evaluate campaign performance and optimise future campaign strategies accordingly
- Monitor key performance metrics (open rate, CPC, CTR, CAC and retention rate)
- Provide regular reporting that communicates performance and highlights future growth opportunities
- Analyse customer data to identify and build key customer segments and audiences
- Implement AB testing to continually improve performance tactics and messaging
- Partner with the Retention Manager, North America to share plans and learnings
- Collaborate with E-commerce, marketing and brand teams to deliver a standout customer experience
- Develop and execute an email and SMS communications calendar
- Develop stand out creative that drives performance and delivers the Helly Hansen brand experience
- Grow our 1st party customer database to build a healthy prospect pipeline
- Manage email and SMS database health, continually monitoring data hygiene and re-engagement
- Manage 3rd party agencies from brief to execution for project and consultation work
- Stay up to date with best practices and industry standards related to database marketing
- Ensure brand consistency with global creative, performance digital, and development teams
Organizational structure
This position is a full-time temporary employment at our Oslo Headquarters
Duration: 12-month contract
Reports to: Senior Manager, Retention and Loyalty
What We Are Looking For
- Passion for the outdoors, skiing, and/or sailing
- 3-5 years of experience within CRM & Email Marketing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail, strategy, operations, or related field
- You have technical experience with CRM tools and analytics (Salesforce, Google Analytics, Emarsys, or similar)
- Demonstrated success in leadership
- Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills. A self-starter with the ability to work between teams and functions with high autonomy
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Skills in Norwegian, Swedish, German, French, Italian, and/or Spanish are a strong bonus
