Asker Viken, Norway TOMRA Full time 120,000 - 180,000 per year

Company Description
TOMRA
was founded in 1972, based on the design, manufacturing and sale of reverse vending machines (RVMs) for automated collection of used beverage containers. Today TOMRA provides solutions that enable the circular economy with advanced collection and sorting systems, and food processing by employing sensor-based sorting and grading technology.

TOMRA Collection
is a leading innovator in the circular economy and Clean Loop Recycling. Founded on the invention of the world's first reverse vending machine, we now collect over 50 billion drink containers for recycling each year through 85,000 installations across 60 markets. The 50 billion collected containers represent only 3% of global beverage packaging sold which provides a significant opportunity for TOMRA Collection to continue its growth and further contribute to a more sustainable planet.

Job Description
As Financial Planning and Performance Manager at TOMRA, you'll be the engine behind our planning rhythm—leading the annual business cycle and shaping our multi-year strategy with clarity and purpose. You'll work closely with analysts and business unit managers to turn insights into action, making sure our numbers don't just look good on paper, but drive real-world results.

This role is all about connecting the dots between strategy and performance—translating ambition into measurable outcomes, and making sure our improvement initiatives actually improve things. You'll be the one asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and helping teams make smarter decisions, faster. If you love the idea of using financial insight to spark progress and performance, you'll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual business plan and long-term strategic planning processes, coordinating with group and business units
  • Translate strategic goals into measurable financial targets and KPIs
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional projects focused on profitability, efficiency, and growth
  • Collaborate with analysts and business units to generate actionable insights and track the impact of improvement initiatives

Qualifications
You're not just good with numbers—you know how to make them speak. With a sharp analytical mind and a knack for turning insight into action, you're the kind of person who sees the story behind the spreadsheet and knows how to move a business forward.

  • A master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration—and the experience to back it up
  • Several years with hands-on experience from FP&A, controlling or management consulting
  • Proven ability to lead improvement initiatives, deliver measurable results, and turn analysis into action
  • Strong communicator with influencing skills across all levels, backed by fluency in Power BI, Excel, and a proactive mindset
