We are seeking a skilled and proactive SPI/LCI Consultant with extensive experience in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI). The role involves establishing and managing SPI data, ensuring data continuity, and optimizing information flow between project and operational phases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LCI information management, data systems, and previous experience in conversion or upgrade projects.

Core Duties

Perform instrument loop design for both projects and operational assets.

Identify and correct missing or inconsistent data in the SPI database.

Establish and quality-assure Fire & Gas (F&G) loops in SPI for an upgrade project in operation.
Conduct full-scale import of equipment, cables, and connections in SPI, including data extraction, quality checks, import, and verification.
Collaborate with contractors and internal teams for data input, validation, and quality assurance.Develop and improve instrumentation-related work processes.
Provide technical support and QA within the operations organization.

Experience

Proven experience in the oil and gas or process industry, particularly with SPI in both project and operational contexts.

Strong understanding of loop design, cable structures, and IO cards in SPI.

Experience in technical information management and system integration.

Demonstrated success in cost optimization and efficiency improvements in SPI deliveries.

Qualifications

Advanced user and administrator experience in SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation), including import tools and project modules.

Strong instrumentation and technical documentation competence.

Ability to operate CAD tools and update technical drawings.

Solid understanding of LCI (Lifecycle Information) processes and systems, including equipment-documentation relationships.

Structured, analytical, and quality-focused work style.

Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
