Semine is looking for an ambitious International Expansion Manager to lead their market entries abroad. This is a brand-new role at Semine, designed to ensure successful and structured international rollouts. Reporting directly to the CEO and operationally to the Management Team you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and scaling their entry into new markets—starting with Benelux, followed by UK and Germany.

You will work at the intersection of strategy and execution: from deep market analysis and GTM planning to building partnerships, driving local marketing activities, and ensuring regulatory readiness. In this role, you will act as both a strategist and a hands-on doer, making sure Semine is positioned for success in every new market.

About the position

As an International Expansion Manager, you will be responsible for Semine's international go-to-market initiatives, from preparation to execution. You will map and analyze target markets, execute launch strategies, build local partnerships, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful rollouts.

This is a highly independent role where you will be the driving force behind new market entries. You will work closely with the leadership team, sales, marketing, product, finance, and customer success, ensuring alignment across the organization. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution—you will not only create the plans but also lead the activities on the ground.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead market entry initiatives from initial research through to launch and scale.
  • Conduct deep analysis of competitors, pricing models, ERP ecosystems, compliance requirements, and business conditions.
  • Detail product and technical requirements, and ensure product readiness.
  • Execute global market strategies and strengthen local partnerships and brand presence.
  • Drive and coordinate operational activities, including marketing initiatives, events, and hiring frameworks.
  • Represent Semine internationally at client meetings, industry events, and partner arenas.
  • Build the foundation for long-term market success before transitioning operations into the line organization.

We believe you have:

  • Solid experience within SaaS and B2B sales/expansion (this is in your DNA).
  • Proven track record in international business development, market entry, or expansion.
  • Strong knowledge of GTM strategies and ability to balance strategic and operational work.
  • Understanding of ERP, accounting, or fintech ecosystems—or proven ability to quickly grasp complex regulatory/business environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, persistent, and able to build something from scratch.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with structured execution skills.
