We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially savvy Strategic Sales and Analytics Manager to join our Northern Europe Strategic Sales & Analytics (SS&A) team, based in London. This individual will be responsible for leading commercial analytics, market insights, and category performance tracking across the UK and Nordics.
You'll drive decision-making through actionable insight, strategic thought leadership, and data-driven recommendations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment and is eager to shape go-to-market plans in one of our most critical regions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Insight & Analysis
- Lead the development of high-impact sales and performance reporting, tracking KPIs across all categories and retail channels.
- Translate data into clear and actionable business narratives, influencing key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Act as the category and market expert for the Northern Europe region—owning the full view of performance, competitive landscape, pricing, promotions, and key trends.
- Conduct proactive and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions, including scenario modelling and gap-opportunity assessments.
Strategy & Business Planning
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver the Plans to Win across categories, channels, and countries.
- Identify opportunities for growth through assortment optimisation, pricing strategy, promotional planning, and increased market penetration.
- Work closely with Sales leadership to influence customer engagement strategies, leveraging fact-based storytelling to win space, visibility, and incremental investment.
- Drive continuous improvement and data governance practices, ensuring data integrity and tool optimisation for SS&A functions.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with local and global SS&A, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to connect insights to execution.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team; foster a culture of curiosity, agility, and commercial excellence.
- Serve as the voice of the UK and Northern Europe markets within global SS&A meetings and initiatives.

- Proven ability to influence decision-making through data storytelling and commercial insight.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a problem-solving, solution-first mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external partnerships.
- A natural collaborator and communicator, able to bring others on the journey and lead through influence.
- Passionate about consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4–6+ years in commercial, category, or sales analytics, ideally within FMCG or consumer goods.
- Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, GFK, NPD).
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView strongly preferred.
- Proven success in handling multiple projects, adapting to shifting priorities, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
