The Role: The Bridge Between the Plant Floor and Product Team
As a Domain Specialist, you are the living embodiment of the maintenance and reliability professional within our company. You are the keeper of operational reality, ensuring the solutions we build are not just technically feasible, but are practical, credible, and genuinely solve the day-to-day challenges of our users.
What You'll Do In Detail
- Business Analysis: Translate specific client needs and broader industry trends in maintenance into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Deconstruct Workflows: Lead sessions to whiteboard and map out complex, real-world maintenance processes, from a sensor alert to a completed work order.
- Enrich User Stories: Provide the critical, granular context for user stories, explaining the "why" behind a reliability engineer's actions and needs.
- Curate and Validate Data: Work with our data science team to curate datasets for training predictive models, using your expertise to spot anomalies and validate that model outputs are physically plausible.
- Act as the "First User": Be the first and most critical tester for all new features, providing brutally honest, expert feedback on usability and value.
Who You Are
You have
5-10+ years of hands-on experience
as a
Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Planner, or Condition Monitoring Specialist
. You have deep expertise in maintenance methodologies,
optimization
strategies, and are an expert in the
best industry practices, tools, and processes
related to Asset Performance Management.
