Are you a technical visionary motivated by hands-on leadership responsibility and close client contact?

Are you prepared to lead the technical and engineering department of TP-Products AS - a company with 35 years as a pioneer and leader in the production of compact solutions for the energy industry, including oil and gas, renewables and microreactors. You will be a key member of the Executive Management Team of TP-Products AS.

We are seeking a pro-active and experienced Lead Mechanical/Structural Engineer ready to lead a competent team of seven engineers. Your key focus will be on serving our customers world-wide, developing and implementing our technology and product strategy as well as leading the evolution of our organization.

The position is based at our facilities in Drammen.

Your main tasks:

Leadership and development of the technical/engineering team.

Partner with global customers to develop tailored solutions for their most demanding needs.

Enhance our existing product portfolio and lead the development of new products.

Supervise design and strength calculations for advanced compact flanges and clamp couplings.

Responsible for development of methods for structural strength and functionality, including in-house software development.

Support Sales and Marketing in customer presentations.

Responsible for activities against 3rd parties for product approvals.

Required qualifications:

MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Structures, Piping, or an equivalent field.

Proven technical leadership experience, with 10+ years in engineering design, specializing in pressure equipment - both FEA and formula calculations.

Familiarity with key international standards (such as API 6A/17D, ASME B31.3, ASME VIII) and a strong understanding of materials used in subsea environments.

Hands-on experience with physical testing and a methodical approach to documentation.

International experience and a passion for solving complex engineering problems.
