As our
Vice President Group Procurement
, you will be responsible for building and leading a scalable, future-proof supply chain and procurement function that supports our global intralogistics business. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on enabling operational excellence, cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and innovation across our value chain.

You will work cross-functionally with all our departments to ensure our supply ecosystem is resilient, sustainable, and aligned with business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

  • Design and implement our global procurement and supply chain strategy from the ground up, aligned with our long-term business goals and customer promise.
  • Build a procurement and supply chain function capable of supporting multi-country operations and high-growth trajectories.
  • Define and govern the end-to-end sourcing, logistics, planning, and inventory management processes.

Operational Excellence & Supplier Management

  • Establish supplier segmentation models and develop strategic partnerships with key vendors and subcontractors.
  • Introduce tools and processes for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Set up performance metrics (KPIs) and governance models to measure cost, quality, delivery, and risk.

Technology, Sustainability & Risk

  • Drive digitization and automation in supply chain processes, using data to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure make-vs-buy decisions, supplier readiness, and component standardization.
  • Embed ESG and sustainability criteria into procurement processes, focusing on carbon impact, responsible sourcing, and circular economy principles.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, capacity, compliance).

Team Building & Organizational Growth

  • Build and lead a high-performing team across procurement, logistics, and supply planning.
  • Define the procurement governance model (centralized, hybrid, or decentralized) in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
  • Develop internal capability through tools, processes, and best-practice sharing across global sites.

Profile & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, preferably in high-tech manufacturing, automation, robotics, or intralogistics.
  • Proven experience setting up or scaling global supply chain organizations.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, production, finance, and operations.
  • Deep understanding of contract negotiation, category management, strategic sourcing, and supply planning.
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of driving cost savings, lead time reductions, and supply stability.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) and supply chain planning tools.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
