Job Description

Organon is seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative (Senior) Brand and Customer Manager Neurology (f/m/d) for the Nordic markets Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. This pivotal marketing role within the newly established North-West Europe cluster will shape our go-to-market strategy and revolutionize the way we engage with markets. By working closely with customers and crafting cutting-edge marketing programs, you will play a key role in maximizing the value of our innovative neurology portfolio. In-depth knowledge of the Nordic pharmaceutical markets is essential, with experience in neurology and a focus on migraine considered a significant advantage. This is a one-year fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Execution: Lead the development and implementation of direct interaction-based and digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with market landscapes, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, particularly within the Nordic pharma markets. Govern compliant campaign ideation and execution while driving synergies between markets and optimizing capabilities.

  • Neurology Market Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the neurology field, with a focus on migraine, to tailor marketing strategies and campaigns that meet market and customer needs effectively.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Utilize customer insights and behavior analysis to design personalized, data-driven campaigns that enhance engagement across multiple channels.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Leadership: Drive cross-functional leadership by working closely with sales teams and internal stakeholders across the cluster, regional, and global levels. Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives while fostering collaboration with medical, regulatory, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Marketing Automation: Optimize marketing automation processes across products, customers, and countries to improve efficiency and business outcomes.

  • Data and Performance Monitoring: Develop and assess business cases, measure campaign effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement measures for continuous optimization. Promote digitalization of marketing processes using tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Competitive Intelligence and Compliance: Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to anticipate market shifts and adapt strategies.

  • Regulatory Awareness: Demonstrated strong understanding of and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical marketing, including knowledge of applicable laws and codes governing pharmaceutical practices and ethical marketing standards.

  • Multi-Channel Project Management: Oversee projects spanning various marketing channels, including promotional email, social media, websites, and partner online platforms, ensuring campaigns are effectively executed and optimized.

  • Forecasting and Planning:
    Lead financial planning and support demand forecasting for the neurology portfolio across the Nordics, ensuring data-driven decision-making and alignment with commercial objectives.

Required Education, Experience and Skills 

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree is required.

  • Marketing Experience: Extensive experience in pharmaceutical product management, including concept development, implementation, and control of marketing and digital activities within a pharmaceutical company or agency.

  • Market Knowledge: Proven expertise in the Nordic pharmaceutical markets is required. Knowledge in neurology, with a focus on migraine, is a significant advantage.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders, including sales, medical, regulatory, and external partners.

  • Customer Engagement Expertise: Experience in leveraging data to improve customer engagement, including journey mapping and segmentation.

  • Innovation & Creativity: Strong creative skills with a passion for understanding customer needs and experimenting with new digital trends and marketing innovations.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.

  • Regulatory Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, including laws, codes, and ethical standards specific to pharmaceutical marketing, ensuring compliance and integrity in all activities.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an open mindset.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong communication skills in English are required. Any other Nordic language is a plus
