As a Field Specialist, you will work under general supervision to develop and apply skills required to run applications of increasing complexity in one product line in the Cased Hole Completions Product Group. Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job. Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BakerHughes Core Values.

As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Running multiple applications in one product line in the Cased Hole Completions Product Group such as Packers, Safety Valves, Inflow Control Valves, Well Monitoring Equipment.
  • Installing equipment following technical documentation and using a variety of tools.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to design and execute best solutions.
  • Following internal Health, Safety and Environment policies to ensure safety and compliance.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a technical qualification.
  • Demonstrate industry experience.
  • Have a general knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.
  • Have a good mechanical aptitude.
  • Thorough mechanical and application proficiency with Cased Hole Completion products in at least one product line (Packers, Safety Valves, Inflow Control Valves, Well Monitoring Equipment).
  • Be able to work well and communicate well with others.
