About Nscale
At Nscale, we are building the infrastructure for Europe's AI revolution; developing cutting-edge sovereign generative AI solutions, powered by a new generation of high-performance, sustainable data centres and GPUs built specifically for AI workloads.
The growth of artificial intelligence is driving unprecedented global demand for compute and GPU infrastructure. Nscale is positioned at the heart of this transformation — building the platforms that will enable the next decade of innovation.
Nscale partner with the world's most advanced AI technology providers, integrating next-gen compute hardware and GPU clusters in both partner and Nscale built facilities. This is an opportunity to join Nscale's journey, play a key role in delivering transformative infrastructure, and help shape a company designed to scale rapidly across Europe and beyond.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical system delivery for Nscale's hyperscale data centre project in northern Norway. You will manage the technical execution of electrical packages from design coordination through construction, commissioning, and handover.
This owner-side role demands deep knowledge of high-voltage, low-voltage, UPS, and backup generation systems. You will ensure electrical works are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet Nscale's safety, performance, and quality standards, while maintaining seamless integration with other building systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all electrical construction activities, ensuring works meet design intent, schedule, and technical standards.
- Review and validate design drawings, submittals, and technical documentation for constructability and compliance.
- Manage on-site interfaces between electrical systems and other disciplines (Mechanical, Controls, CSA).
- Monitor and report on progress, identify risks, and support schedule recovery planning across all electrical packages, ensuring visibility and alignment across the wider delivery team.
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, and testing throughout installation and commissioning phases.
- Support integrated systems testing (IST) and ensure complete verification and documentation of electrical systems.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors and internal teams to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
- Promote a culture of safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across all project activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant experience managing electrical delivery including within data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, power conditioning, and controls systems essential.
- Proven experience in coordinating design, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiar with project reporting and scheduling tools
- Fluent in English; additional European languages advantageous.
What We Can Offer You
At Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact. We're building something extraordinary, and our people are driving it.
- Highly competitive package (base, equity, relocation allowance) with reviews every 12 months
- Hiking, fishing, community, picturesque snowy scenery? The Norwegian Fjords has it all in abundance
- A career-defining opportunity to be an early member of the fastest growing data centre / tech startup in Europe
- This is your chance to push boundaries, collaborate on, and make your mark on cutting-edge AI - these DC's aren't just a storage centre for your spam emails, they're changing the industry - and the world - as we've known it.
- A dynamic progression plan tailored to your ambitions. Grow by trying new things, leading, challenging the status quo, and owning your impact, with our full support. We want our people to develop alongside us, so as the business grows, so will you.
- A human-first approach: We treat you as humans first. Our flexible workplace trusts Nscalers to deliver, giving you the autonomy needed to get the job done.
