About The Role
The Accountant supports EcoOnline's Nordic entities, ensuring accurate accounting, reconciliations, VAT/tax compliance, and monthly/annual group reporting. This role contributes to automation, integration, and standardisation across regions, strengthening EcoOnline's scalable, data-driven finance function. It suits a part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA professional who is hands-on, detail-driven, and confident working independently in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-/year-end closings.
- Manage tax and VAT reporting for Nordic entities.
- Assist with group consolidation and financial reporting.
- Control and follow up on accounting across companies within the group.
- Support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Group Controlling, FP&A, and auditors on reporting and audits.
- Provide ad hoc support across finance projects.
What We're Looking For
- Accounting & ERP Proficiency: Strong grasp of accounting standards; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O) preferred.
- Accounting Experience: Reconciliations, financial statements, and group reporting.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: High accuracy; ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in English: Working language across all entities.
- Adaptability & Self-Learning: Flexible and proactive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
