An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Concept Development Lead to join our Offshore & Special Purpose team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in early-phase operational concept development, helping shape the future of offshore operations, ocean research, and subsea systems.

As Concept Development Lead, you will represent Offshore & Special Purpose in both internal and external development projects and programs across Kongsberg Maritime. You will play a central role in developing integrated solutions, while bringing valuable insights and ideas back to our department.

Key responsibilities include:

Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand operational needs

Evaluating and lead/participating in relevant internal development programs

Providing sales support and technical assistance to sales and products team

Assessing and developing customer-initiated ideas and concepts

Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation

Lead the collaboration with our partners and suppliers in both design activities and development of offshore operations.

Have a strong collaborative mindset. Able to act as an integrator in the organization

Is curious, ambitions and self driven

Act on own initiative, make things happen and accept responsibility for the results

Demonstrate specialist knowledge and expertise in own area

Qualifications and experience

Higher education is an advantage, but not required

Solid understanding of offshore operations and the ability to quickly grasp complex challenges

Familiarity with our products is an advantage, but not a requirement

Relevant network and preferably experience from operational activities

Capable of preparing and delivering high-quality documentation

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
