About the Role
As Project Manager for Downhole Broadband Solutions and Wired Drill Pipe (WDP) projects at NOV Digital Services, you will serve as the single point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring successful execution of operations and fulfilment of contractual deliverables. You will lead both technical and commercial aspects of projects, manage offshore operations, and collaborate with sales and support functions to deliver high-value solutions powered by real-time downhole data. This position may require working from client offices as needed.

About the Company
NOV Digital Services is a business group within the NOV Energy Products and Services segment, specializing in drilling automation and optimization through the use of real-time downhole data. By deploying Wired Drill Pipe (WDP) technology and Along-String Measurement (ASM) tools, we enable the transmission of high-density, low-latency data from downhole systems to surface teams. This includes key metrics such as temperature, pressure, rotation, and vibration data, which contribute to smarter, safer, and more efficient drilling operations. As demand grows, we continue to expand our operations team to drive innovation and excellence for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee and manage all technical and commercial project deliverables.
  • Attend and work from client offices as requested.
  • Lead and coordinate offshore operations, including personnel and equipment logistics.
  • Collaborate with onshore support functions to ensure project alignment.
  • Act as the liaison between operations, sales, and support teams.
  • Support sales and business development through technical presentations and proposal input.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making with operational insights.
  • Ensure QHSE compliance across all assigned projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Petroleum Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in drilling and well operations.
  • Proven background in offshore operations, project management, and client engagement.
  • In-depth understanding of the Norwegian and/or UK offshore industries.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
