About The Role
As our Director Employee Engagement & Leadership Communication, you'll set the direction for how we connect 10,000 employees to our purpose, values, and strategy — across languages, time zones, and cultures.

Working across markets and functions, you'll bring culture and strategy to life through powerful storytelling, digital innovation, and leadership visibility. You'll advise top leadership on impactful, authentic communication and evolve internal platform inTel (Workvivo) into a vibrant global platform that informs, connects, and celebrates our people.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute Telenor's global employee engagement and leadership communication strategy.
• Advise and support the Executive Management Team & their business partners on authentic, impactful communication that connects people to business priorities.
• Lead the strategic development and governance of inTel (Workvivo) – ensuring it's a lively, content & insights-driven platform that people love to use.
• Drive storytelling and campaigns that celebrate our people and make strategy relatable and inspiring.
• Shape leadership communication moments such as yearly leader summits, global townhalls, internal videos, and digital updates.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Functions, key champions and Business Units to ensure consistent communication and engagement across the organization.
• Use analytics and insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness and reach.

What You Bring

• 10+ years' experience in internal or corporate communications, with a strong focus on employee engagement and leadership communication.
• Proven experience advising senior leaders and managing complex, cross-market communication initiatives.
• Strong understanding of digital employee platforms (Workvivo, Viva Engage, Workplace or similar).
• Excellent English writing and storytelling skills; Norwegian is an advantage.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insight into practical action.
• Experience working in an international or matrix organisation.
