Release is developing and deploying a unique, flexible leasing solution of modular solar and battery equipment for the utilities market. We are present in several countries in Africa and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of position We are looking for a Project Manager (Release)  to be based in Oslo, Norway and be part of our global team. As our Project Manager you will be managing the planning and implementation of Release projects till handover of the operational PV plant to Asset Management/Client.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the Project Implementation phase of each project according to Project Implementation plan; ensure that the PV plant is delivered according to budget, time and agreed quality; Support the Installation/Construction Manager managing all construction activities on the construction site; represent Release in any of stakeholder engagement commitments as necessary
  • Plan and prepare the Project Implementation Phase; Manage the team carrying out engineering and supply chain activities, manage negotiations with suppliers and contractors where relevant; ensure the preparation phase is executed effectively by identifying and managing all required activities; optimize the project budget
  • Support the Business Development team as needed in the business development phase. In particular to provide input to and establish initial project implementation plans and budgets.
  • Secure that activities are carried out according to our Operating System; contribute to improvement and optimization of the Release Operating System where applicable

Qualifications and Competencies 

  • Master's Degree in Engineering (Construction Management or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering)
  • Excellent track record of planning and managing large scale (renewable) energy and construction projects
  • An excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Sound knowledge of contracts related to energy generation projects
  • Fluent both written and spoken in English and preferably in French
