Solution Engineer

As a Solution Engineer in the AI Business Solutions – Copilot team, you will lead technical engagements that drive AI transformation for enterprise customers. Your mission is to win technical decisions and accelerate adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio & Agents, and related solutions by delivering compelling demos, envisioning sessions, and scalable architectures. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through secure, compliant, and value-driven implementations that align with their enterprise strategies.

This role is pivotal in shaping the future of work by enabling customers to realize the full potential of AI-powered productivity. You will collaborate closely with sales, customer success, engineering, and partner teams to remove technical blockers, generate pipeline, and ensure seamless handoffs for deployment and adoption. Your success will be measured by technical wins, customer adoption, partner engagement, and your contributions to a high-performance, learning-oriented team culture.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 40% from home.

• Drive AI transformation by orchestrating complex technical engagements across multiple stakeholders.
• Lead architecture design for secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Mentor Engineers and lead peer learning sessions to elevate team capability.
• Influence product and go-to-market strategy by providing structured feedback to engineering and sales leadership.
• Proactively identify and escalate unresolved technical blockers through formal channels.
• Champion compliance, diversity, and inclusion by modeling ethical behavior and inclusive practices.

Required/minimum qualifications

• Extensive years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and proven years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND several years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
• Extensive experience in enterprise solution engineering or technical sales roles.
• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI Agents, with a track record of winning complex technical decisions.
• Skilled in crafting secure, scalable architectures and leading cross-functional engagements.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team-wide learning and strategy.
• Strong influence and communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.
• Able to fluently communicate (written and verbal) in both English and Norwegian.
