Senior Integrity Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integrity Engineer to ensure structural integrity management for offshore assets in operation. The primary goal of this role is to maintain safe operations and optimal production through effective monitoring, evaluation, and management of structural integrity and associated barriers.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve in a technical-administrative capacity to ensure that structural integrity for operating fields is effectively monitored and managed.
  • Responsible for risk-based integrity management of structures, including maintaining and updating RBA/RBI plans for inspection and monitoring based on evaluation of inspection results and technical changes.
  • Ensure understanding of the function, design, and performance of relevant safety barriers, and that barrier performance is maintained.
  • Maintain correct descriptions of barriers within the safety strategy and perform annual evaluations of its content.
  • Contribute to finding management related to structural issues, including technical condition assessment, barrier status, and risk evaluation of findings.
  • Support risk assessments of all reported FM (Facility Modification) needs related to structural integrity.
  • Initiate and ensure approval of corrective work orders, based on inspection evaluations and findings.
  • Monitor and report relevant KPIs within the integrity management area.
  • Ensure all relevant subsea integrity activities are included in the asset activity plan.
  • Provide input to budgeting for integrity management activities.
  • Offer discipline support within structural integrity to projects and other parts of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in structural/civil engineering, or marine structures.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within structural integrity management, inspection, and/or offshore operations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Experience from operational facilities is needed.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
