Key Responsibilities as Data Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures for analytics, machine learning and AI workloads.
Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and developers to understand requirements and transform them into scalable data solutions.
Contribute actively to the delivery of projects, taking responsibility for the data and AI aspects in client implementations.
Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies, optimising for performance, scalability, and security.
Document solutions and processes, and provide training to colleagues and end-users when needed.
Drive usage and best practices of modern data platforms among customers and internally.
Support the team with advice on data engineering, AI and MLOps, ensuring optimal use of resources and platforms.
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Spark, Power BI).
Experience deploying, maintaining, or utilising machine learning and AI solutions in a production environment.
Strong understanding of cloud data solutions and modern data platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure or comparable).
Ability to translate business processes and requirements into technical data solutions.
Curious about new AI advancements and data-driven applications.
Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills, comfortable sharing expertise and helping others to grow.
Self-driven, structured, and eager to learn new technologies and concepts.
