Information about the job:

  • Job Title: Asset Technology Engineer.
  • Project: Offshore Project.
  • Location: Worldwide.
  • Rotation: 35/35 days on/off.
  • Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate.
  • Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Insurance: Provided by the Company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Proven experience in technical management or engineering support for marine or industrial equipment.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance systems, asset management, and certification standards (DNV, ABS, etc.).
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Skilled in developing feasibility studies and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in project planning, procurement coordination, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with international maintenance and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

  • Work with internal departments to define and implement technical solutions for vessel and equipment upgrades or new builds.
  • Perform preliminary studies and conceptual designs to meet internal and client requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with international best practices.
  • Manage and monitor external service providers for maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Verify and maintain up-to-date certifications for all machinery and equipment.
  • Identify materials and services needed for projects and follow up on procurement progress until completion.
  • Support project teams with technical assistance and troubleshooting within established budgets.
  • Maintain and update equipment databases, maintenance records, and asset documentation.
  • Contribute to tendering processes by providing relevant technical data and insights.
