About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Shift Leader
to join our industrial cleaning team at a modern salmon processing factory in Norway. You'll be responsible for leading a team of industrial cleaners to ensure that production areas, equipment, and facilities meet strict hygiene and safety standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone with solid industrial cleaning experience and the ability to organize, motivate, and support a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cleaning operations during assigned shifts
  • Supervise a team of industrial cleaners
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food industry regulations
  • Train and support new team members
  • Monitor cleaning schedules, quality checks, and reporting
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain cleaning records and report issues to management

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    2–3 years of industrial cleaning experience
    , ideally in the food or fish processing industry
  • Proven
    leadership or team supervisor experience
  • Good knowledge of hygiene procedures, chemicals, and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and under time pressure
  • Communicative level of
    English (spoken and written)
  • Flexibility to work shifts (evening/night/weekend) as required
