Who we're looking for
We're excited to announce an opportunity for a System Consultant to join and contribute to our Asset Finance team. This hybrid role combines business analysis and hands-on technical development where you'll be at the heart of delivering solutions for credit processes and customer onboarding (Credit Scoring, AML, KYC, etc.) for both new and existing Banqsoft clients. You'll work closely with clients across digital banking, leasing and asset financing, directly influencing how they onboard customers and manage credit processes.

As part of our Asset Finance team, you'll help businesses unlock growth by providing innovative financing solutions for essential assets like vehicles and equipment. As a market leader in the Nordics, collaborating with some of the largest car brands and powering the majority of all Nordic financed cars, you'll play a key role in creating solutions that make these assets more accessible, enabling clients to achieve ambitious goals and drive lasting success.

What does the role look like?

  • Lead client dialogues to secure and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.
  • Collaborate on projects covering client deliveries, product development, test processes, analysis, and specifications.
  • Participate in the full solution lifecycle: analysis, design, estimation, programming, testing, and implementation.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying client needs, preparing and selling solutions, and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams to continuously improve our Asset Finance offerings.

  • A solid understanding of financial products and processes.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A few years of experience in consulting, banking, asset financing, or systems development.
  • Proficiency in both English and Norwegian.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

It's great if you have (but not a must):

  • Experience from the financial industry and knowledge of scorecards, Credit Scoring, Policy Rules, AML processing, and KYC.
  • Experience with data and database schemas, SQL, or APIs (XML/JSON).
  • Good theoretical insight and software development skills.
  • Understanding of customer needs and business processes in asset finance.
