What You'll Be Doing

  • Greet all guests by making them feel welcome and comfortable

  • Anticipate guest's wants, needs, and desires

  • Productive and proactive in providing personalized guest experiences

  • Prioritize and use time management skills

  • Take initiative to resolve concerns and understand guest needs

  • Provide guest experiences that build positive relationships

  • Provide thorough and knowledgeable explanations of the Kalamazoo Athletic Club in order to maximize each sale and optimize customers satisfaction

  • Continuously promote yourself and the Kalamazoo Athletic Club to ensure growth professionally

  • Give tours to potential members and fitness orientations to new members and guest

  • Communicate amenities and promote the Kalamazoo Athletic Club

  • Continuation of knowledge within the health and fitness industry

What You Need for this Position

  • Excellent customer service skills and strong multitasking skills

  • Ability to use software programs and navigate the computer system

  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more

  • Able to stoop and bend

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time

  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment

  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards

  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
