Oslo, Oslo County, Norway Noteless Full time

Help shape the core of Noteless' AI platform

Noteless builds AI-driven solutions for healthcare that reduce administrative burden and help clinicians deliver better care, giving clinicians back hours every day.

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of key frontend initiatives - including building new ways for users to interact with Noteless directly within their existing workflows.

The role

This is a frontend-focused role with full-stack exposure. You'll work closely with our product and backend teams to ship features that bring Noteless closer to where clinicians actually work - whether that's in our core web application or through other interfaces.

Your impact and responsibilities

  • Own the development of user-facing features, from concept through deployment

  • Build performant, reliable frontend experiences that integrate tightly with healthcare systems

  • Work across the stack when needed, making smaller API or integration changes yourself

  • Collaborate with engineers, clinicians, product managers, and designers to shape solutions grounded in real user needs

  • Improve performance, reliability, and code quality across the codebases

  • Grow your technical scope over time, with potential development toward a Tech Lead path

Who we're looking for

You're someone who enjoys solving user-facing challenges and shipping work that makes a tangible difference. You likely bring:

  • 3+ years of engineering experience with a strong foundation in frontend/web development

  • Deep proficiency in React and TypeScript

  • Experience building features that interact with or embed into third-party web environments (browser extensions, integrations, embedded apps, or similar)

  • Comfort working with real-time data - audio, streaming, or live updates

  • Familiarity with backend concepts and the ability to navigate a Python codebase when needed

  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and genuine care for user experience

  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices

Bonus: Experience in SaaS, health tech, or building tools for professional workflows.

You'll succeed in this role if you

  • Enjoy technical autonomy and thrive when given ownership of a problem

  • Can work fluidly across frontend and backend when the situation calls for it

  • Are energised by shipping work that users interact with daily

  • Appreciate the nuance of building reliable software that fits into complex, real-world environments

What you can expect at Noteless

  • The chance to build technology that directly improves clinicians' workday

  • A fast-paced environment with meaningful ownership and space to experiment

  • Competitive salary and stock options

  • A team that blends clinical, AI, product, design, and engineering expertise

  • Modern offices at Forskningsparken in Oslo

  • A culture that values clarity, craft, and getting things done

About Noteless

Noteless is redefining how clinical documentation works. Our AI-driven platform captures patient conversations and structures them into clinical documentation - reducing the administrative burden that burns out clinicians and takes time away from patients.

We're a team of engineers, designers, clinicians, and product builders who care about shipping work that matters.
